It was business as usual for owners Steve & Tammy Seige, despite a new location, new staff and new menu items.

"We keep outgrowing locations! We're not moving because of financial struggles, but we keep finding better opportunities for growth," said Steve Seige.

The Rusty Saw Smokehouse & BBQ has outgrown a few different locations over the past 5 years, but one thing remains the same.

Seige calls his "customers" his family. And that "family" continues to follow the business from one location to another as the business continues to expand and grow.

"Every move we make is helping our family to grow," said Seige. "Everyone who comes to the Rusty Saw, either as a customer or an employee, becomes part of our family," Seige went on. "We're thankful that they continue to help us sell out of food every single weekend," Seige added.

"Family Member" Dan Klopp was so happy with his meal at the new location he went right to Facebook and posted: "Wow! What an awesome dinner!! Everyone has to check out Rusty Saw Smokehouse inside of the Lumber Barons Brewery on Midland Street. 5 star food!"

Seige said he had to jump at the opportunity to move into Lumber Baron's Brewery located on Midland Street in on Bay City's West Side. The new location presented the opportunity to offer great BBQ along with hand-crafted beers . . . which has always been a passion of Seige.

"Rusty Saw is about the furthest thing from a chain restaurant you can get," said Manager Joseph Baker, nicknamed "The Governor" by owners Steve & Tammy. "When you think about Mom & Pop style restaurants, The Rusty Saw definitely fits the bill," Baker added.

Seige said they are excited to offer "Award-Winning BBQ & Beer".

The newest location is open for lunch and dinners and features weekly specials.

The Rusty Saw is located at 804 E Midland St, Bay City, MI 48706.

Had lunch there on Sept. 30th and it was delicious!! This is real smoked food like they do in Texas. We are so lucky to have a serious smoked food expert in the area. Wonderful service, great environment and easy parking!!
