Ah! Tempo
Bay City's Noon Rotary held it's annual
Holiday Meeting last Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Holding with tradition, the
Morning Rotary,
Northern Bay and Arenac Rotary, and the
Bay City Optimists were all invited.
After an excellent dinner provided by the Doubletree, the club held an abbreviated program with a few announcements, the club broke with the tradition of having Rotarian's provide a musical show.
Instead, Lee Newton then introduced the day's program, a musical presentation by the "
Ah! Tempo" group from the
Saginaw Choral Society.
The group presented six tunes, one of which was a rousing rendition of the "Sugar Plum Fairy" without words. Terrific fun!
The Club will hold a regular program next week, December 23 featuring Jonathan Teich, who will talk about his experiences as a TV intern at the recent Olympics in Sochi Russia. There will be no program on December 30, but lunch will be served and Rotarians are encouraged to attend to enjoy fellowship with their friends.

(Last year we did not meet due to proximity to Christmas and New Year Day.)
