If you said "WTF" at the TV media gods when Joss Whedon's "Firefly" ended after only one season back in 2002 . . .
If you were so angry that you could almost spit when "Lost" ended its TV run in 2010 . . .
If you cried out in anguish when "Flash Forward" just disappeared in 2010 . . .
"Heroes" left us all with a bad taste in our mouths when it stopped in 2010 . . . We were all mad as hell.
Come to think of it . . . I was even po'd with the way that Seinfeld (1998) ended, M.A.S.H. stopped (1983) and even the way Howdy Doody just vanished (1967).
Well . . . keep your crying towel handy . . . Here comes another one.
Wayward Pines (Matt Dillon, Carla Gugino, Thursday, FOX)--- Here's the IMDB synopsis: A Secret Service agent (Dillon) goes to Wayward Pines, Idaho, in search of two federal agents (Gugino) who have gone missing in the bucolic town. He soon learns that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.
Five (5) weeks into it and I am hooked.
I know, I know . . . M. Night Shyamalan is involved. (But I'm watching anyway.)
The premise is great. (ScyFy, Time Travel, Everybody's got a secret.)
Actors/Writers (Dillon, Gugino) got their act together.
Plot is based on a 3-novel series . . . so, we know there's lots of content.
I'm "ALL IN" . . .
Thursday night's episode was kinda like an anti-Lost episode -- if you know what I mean. The episode ("The Truth") got us up to speed with what was taking place.
We (viewers) are all happy campers. And, we've got more questions.
DEFINITION OF INTERESTING: arousing curiosity or interest; holding or catching the attention of the viewer. (CHECK!)
They better not screw it up.
