Stephen J. Scannell is the new Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of McLaren Bay Region

Alice Gerard, President/CEO, McLaren Bay Region, has announced that Stephen J. Scannell is the new Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of McLaren Bay Region. Mr. Scannell assumes the role previously held by Brian Kay, who retired on October 19th.

Most recently, Mr. Scannell was the Chief Financial Officer at McLaren Northern Michigan (formerly known as Northern Michigan Regional Health System), located in Petoskey, Michigan.

Prior to joining McLaren Northern Michigan, Mr. Scannell served as Vice President of the Rawlings Company in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mr. Scannell is a certified public accountant and has a master's degree in nonprofit administration from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in business administration from Bellarmine University. He is also a Fellow and member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Mr. Scannell is transitioning his residence from Petoskey to the Great Lakes Bay Region.
