Michigan Idol Show Begins New Season at Willew Lounge
Ten Competitors Compete on Opening Night

It was the return of the Michigan Idol Show on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Ten contestants opened the season of singing talent at a new venue, with new judges and new people to add to the scene.
Josh Sharrow, Emcee of the Show, said," Its a lot of fun being on the other side of the judges table. Sharrow was a former Idol Judge the last several seasons.
"It was a pretty good crowd for an opening night," said Willew owner Scott McKenzie. "I'm hoping the Wednesday night competition at Willew will pack 'em in for the rest of the summer."
Idol Judge Dani Vitany, former contestant winner and country artist, said, "Its definitely good to be back, I missed everyone!"
"The season opener of Michigan Idol show was so much fun! As a judge this time, I love getting a chance to give others advice and watching so many talented acts!"
Vitany added, "Bay City is the place to be for entertainment!"

Contestants are scored on Point system that is based on: Vocal Ability, Stage Presence, Over All Attitude, Appearance, Crowd Reaction.
