The skies cleared.

The sun and temperature were near perfect for Summer time in the City.

And . . . East Bank Market is going strong and open for downtown shoppers looking for "that special something" for themselves or for gift giving.

"This is our second week open and it just continues to get better and better," said East Bank Manager, Darraugh Opelski.

Opelski's says she's totally excited about what's on the schedule in the upcoming weeks for East Bank Market in Downtown Bay City.

Music from "The String Thing" musical group filled the air in downtown Bay City anywhere near the corner of Center and Saginaw Streets as shoppers walked, talked and made purchases.

"Every week, there's just going to be something special going on in the downtown area," Opelski continued. "There will be great crowds all Summer long and great opportunities for crafters and shoppers alike."
