FRANCES GOLL MILLS FUND AWARDS GRANT TO NEW DIMENSIONS

New Dimensions, a vocational rehabilitation agency serving Bay and Arenac Counties, has received funding for its ?Breaking the Barriers Preventing Community Employment? project from the Frances Goll Mills Fund which is administered by FirstMerit PrivateBank.

This project educates local employers about the benefits of working with a diverse workforce. It also helps individuals with disabilities who are searching for employment remove the barriers they may have erected by identifying potential jobs where they can be successful and supporting them as they enter the workforce, often for the first time.

New Dimensions has placed more than 30 individuals at jobs in the community over the last year
