The competition is ""hot and heavy" at Michigan Idol

It's been going on for almost 8 years .... But it NEVER gets old.

"I'm amazed every week, by our local talent. They get better, their song choice improves and they come alive on the stage." said Deb St. Hilaire.

"I'm so happy to be included in, as a judge, in Michigan Idol. My fellow judges are the best!" continued St. Hilaire.

"It's a cool feeling being able to host Michigan Idol at the contest's birthplace, The Stables. For the finale we should get Doug Dore to host!" said Josh Sharrow.

Contestants are scored on: Appearance, Stage Presence, Vocal Ability, Crowd Reaction, Song Knowledge and OverAll Attitude. Total scores from the contestants best 5 weeks are totaled to conclude winner of Contest.

Sign up is held from 8pm to 9pm. With competition and warm-ups starting at 9pm.

The Stables Martini & Cigar Bar is located at 804 E. Midland Street in Bay City.
