Spoiler Free Movie Review - The Last Witch Hunter

"The Last Witch Hunter" was a good movie.

I have to admit I like most anything with Vin Diesel in it.

It had a good story. It won't win an Academy award or anything but I enjoyed it.

Movies exist to entertain us. If they do, they've done their job.

Kaulder, Diesel, is the title character. He is cursed with immortality by the Witch Queen, Julie Engelbrecht. My movie buddy swears it's the exact story as "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". I don't agree. I saw that movie and I hardly remember it.

Michael Caine is Kaulder's handler. He always does a good job. Elijah Wood takes over the handler position after Michael Caine dies. I have a difficult time looking at Elijah and not seeing Frodo from the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. The special effects are mostly CGI (computer generated images) and were all right.

All-in-all I liked it.
