For more than 20 years, Bay County Habitat for Humanity volunteers have wrapped gifts at the Bay City Mall from Black Friday through Christmas Eve. The money raised from this event helps Habitat?s mission of building and revitalizing homes, communities and hope.
Habitat?s Gift Wrapping station is located in the JC Penney wing and is open from 10 am to 9 pm, Monday through Saturday, 12 pm to 6 pm on Sundays and 9 am to 5 pm on Christmas Eve. Gift wrapping is free for shoppers but donations are appreciated.
Bay County Habitat for Humanity has many individuals, families, schools, businesses, churches and groups signed up to help wrap gifts but still has openings for more volunteers. Shifts are available from 10 am to 12 pm, 12 pm to 3 pm, 3 pm to 6 pm, and 6 pm to 9 pm.
Individuals and groups who are interested in volunteering to help Bay County Habitat can call the office at 989-895-0980, stop by the gift wrapping station at the Bay City Mall, or email info@habitatbaycounty.org for more information and to sign-up for a day and time that works for them.
