Ok I saw "Sisters". Many in my group were rolling on the floor laughing. I did enjoy it, but there was some detractors.
The story was good. The parents of two forty-something sisters ask them to come home and clean out their old room so they can sell their house. The "girls" are rather spoiled and immature. The sisters decided to throw one last Ellis Island Party. I enjoyed the character growth and some of the high jinks.
The acting was good. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were the sisters. James Brolin and Dianne Wiest are the parents.
I felt it really earned its R rating for language, drug and alcohol use and sexual content (no nudity). It was really too crude for my liking. Somewhat of a "female Seth Rogan comedy". Some moments were definitely cringe worthy.
