Hell's Half Mile Film & Music Festival has a new place to call home. On the second floor of the Phoenix Building in Downtown Bay City to be exact!

An Open House to celebrate the new space and screening room was held Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016. Director Alan LaFave encouraged invited guests to come take a tour citing, "We have big plans for 2016, and beyond, and we hope you'll stop in to see where things are going."

Those that attended enjoyed music from Lightnin' Licks Vintyl Preservation Society, refreshments, "flash presentations" and pop-up retail included:

Electric Kitsch
Harless + Hugh Flea
Ferne Boutique
Antiqueologae: Vintage Sales
A Spencer Gellise Salon
Retro Attics
The event was sponsored by FinancialEdge Credit Union and A Spencer Gellise Salon.

The next event is February 27, 2016, at Delta College Planetarium in Downtown Bay City where they present a series of acclaimed short films. The show starts at 4:30 p.m. and admission is $5.
