Grant Funds Drive Us To Work!

Patsy Powell announced today that New Dimensions, a Bay City vocational training center, has recently received funding from The Alden and Vada Dow Family Foundation and The Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation. Funds from these grants were used to purchase two new vehicles for the Supported Employment Department.

The Supported Employment Department works with over one hundred individuals on a yearly basis and transportation is an essential part of helping individuals submit job applications, go to job interviews, and obtain employment.

In the past six months, New Dimensions has successfully placed over 37 individuals with barriers to employment into the workforce and the two new vehicles will greatly contribute to their future success.
