"Collateral Beauty"

Oh my!

I saw the movie "Collateral Beauty". Will Smith plays Howard a man who retreats from life after the loss of his little girl. He questions the universe by writing to Love, Time and Death. Receiving answers, he begins to see how these things interlock and how even loss can reveal moments of meaning and beauty.

It really is quite the tear jerker and I'm so glad I saw it with my great friends from my group, Friends Moving Forward. However, I would most definitely see it again. Such a nice thought provoking and powerful movie.

Ed Norton, Kate Winslet, and Michael Pena are his associates at his ad agency. They try to bring him out of his depression. They engage some actors to help. Helen Mirren plays the character of Death. Keira Knightly plays the character of Love. Jacob Lattimore plays the character of Time. All are excellent. There are definitely some award winning performances here.

So go. Have fun. Eat popcorn.
