Wonder Woman

I can't say enough good about the movie "Wonder Woman". It was intense and action-packed throughout. The plot was well formed and easy to follow.

The acting was great and the directing by Patty Jenkins was excellent. Gal Gadot was a very real Wonder Woman/ Diana Prince. Chris Pine was Steve Trevor. Connie Nielsen was her mother, Queen Hippolyta. Robin Wright was General Antiope, her trainer. All did a great job.

I was thoroughly entranced by the movie.

I have always loved super hero comics. I thought Wonder Woman was a good role model for girls. She is intelligent, tough and fearless. She brought this all to the movie without loosing her femininity. Contrary to a comment made to me by an uninformed chauvinist, it is NOT a chick-flick, nor was the action tempered down because the director was a woman.

Diana saves a USA pilot shot down near her hidden island during WWI. He tells them of the horrors going on in the outside world and she decides it is her duty to go with him and help.

I loved it! So go. Have fun. Eat popcorn.
