Playscape Naming Contest Ends July 31, 2017

The Friends of the Imagination Station Steering Committee are seeking the community's help on naming the new playscape to be located in Bigelow Park.

Entries can be submitted via email to bcplaygroundfriends@gmail.com or on the Friends of the Imagination Station's Facebook page.

"We really want to continue to engage our community on this project so we believe it is important to invite the public to help with the naming of this family-friendly community asset," said Mary Rankey, co-chair of the Friends of the Imagination Station steering committee.

The winning submission will receive a complimentary donor brick at the entrance to the new playscape. If duplicate names are submitted, only the first submission will be considered. Submissions must be received by July 31, 2017.

## About: In July 2015, the Bay Area Community Foundation, the City of Bay City and a group of volunteers known as the Friends of the Imagination Station Steering Committee came together to begin the planning stages for a new community playscape. After extensive community input and soil testing, a location was decided upon within Bigelow Park on the middle grounds. In the spring of 2018, the Friends of the Imagination Station will construct a universally accessible play structure that will endure for years to come.
