MOVIE REVIEW -- "Home Again" is a Feel-Good Movie

September 19, 2017
By: Kathy Rupert-Mathews

We saw the movie "Home Again". Very good movie. It's a PG-13. No swearing, no nudity, just 20 feet lips during the kissing scenes.

It revolves around a 40-year-old mom of two girls, Alice Kinney played by Reese Witherspoon. She has moved from New York to Hollywood to live in her late father's home. This allows her to be closer to her mom, played by Candice Bergen, and be separated from her husband.

She meets three young men, late twenties, at a bar where her friends have taken her to celebrate her birthday. The guys are in Hollywood to try to sell their movie. They are played by Nat Wolff, Pico Alexander, and Jon Rudnitsky.

The story shows the character growth of Alice, the young men, and her daughters. Very much a feel-good movie. Lots of laughter and a couple of teary-eyed moments.

So go. Have fun. Eat popcorn.
