Bay Concert Band to Mount Holiday Concert

The Bay Concert Band will return to the Central High School auditorium next Sunday, December 17, at 3 pm with their Holiday concert. This year's title is "A Holiday Celebration" and will feature The Sweet Adelines Chorus along with the band.

One of the band's most popular concerts, Sunday's performance will open with two selections by the popular composer Leroy Anderson: "A Christmas Festival" and "Sleigh Ride". Following those numbers will be a composition by Stephen Bulla entitled "Rhapsody for Hanukkah".

The second half of the program will begin with special guests "The Sweet Adelines Chorus", who will sing several favorite songs of the season in their own unique and entertaining style.

The program ends with a Holiday Sing-Along featuring the band, Sweet Adelines, and the audience.

Doors open at 2:30 pm. Admission is $5. (Students and children sixth grade and under are free!)

This is not only a great value, it's also one of the treats of the season. Be sure you don't miss it.
