Beer Bash Organizer, Steve Coppler said he was pleased with the turnout to the First Annual Bay City Beer Bash.

"We had an awesome crowd on Saturday and today (Sunday) is looking good too," Coppler said.

The two-day event offered over 100 different brands of beer for tasters to try. A $20 ticket bought 20 three-ounce samples and there was plenty of activity at the beer stands all day.

"We were actually afraid that we might run out of beer on Saturday," Coppler laughed. Bay City crowds like their beer.

Brats, pretzels and other snacks were also available during the weekend.

"Next year is definitely a go," said Coppler. "Mark your calendars. We'll be back for the 2nd Annual Bay City Beer Bash."

BEER WINNERS WERE:
  • Light Lager: Tyskie, Peroni, Harp.
  • Light Ale: Leinenkugels's Berry Weiss, Leinenkugels's Sunset Wheat, Hofbrau Heteweizen
