"Leading in Today's Turbulent World", a series of seminars outlining a sustainable approach to achieving bottom line business success, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2 at the Mid Michigan Innovation Center, Midland.

As the world becomes more interconnected, competing in it is becoming more complex," states Christine Greve of the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center at Delta College.

"Escalating technological advances, shrinking margins, market globalization, outsourcing, and new forms of competition continue to accelerate the pace of business and stress today's workers. Business leaders are often caught in the middle, being asked to increase productivity, profit, and innovation, without losing sight of what lies at the heart of sustainable performance - their people. The challenge is how."
