Every Day, It's-a-Gettin' Closer . . . Goin' Faster Than a Roller-Coaster

And then there were two . . . USC & ND (Oh Yeah! And Michigan)

LSU has defeated Arkansas 31-26. . . Somebody tell me why Arkansas passed four times in a row on their last possession.

Arkansas (10-2) will still be the West Champ of the SEC. Florida is the East Champ of the SEC no matter what happens in their last game with struggling Florida State (6-5).

Arkansas will bury Florida in the SEC Championship game on December 2nd.

Florida will have 2 losses. Arkansas has 2 losses. Texas lost again.

It's all about three teams now -- Notre Dame, USC and Michigan -- All with only one loss.

But on Saturday (tomorrow) Notre Dame and USC will square off at 8:00 pm in the final "elimination game" to determine (in theory) who will face Ohio State in the BCS Championship Game.

There are only 2 options:

Notre Dame Wins - USC drops out of contention with their second loss of the year. But there's a glitch! Notre Dame Lost to Michigan (badly, at home) in week three of the college football season.) This brings the following question to the top of the list. Who would you rather see in the championship game? A rematch of Michigan and Ohio State> Or Ohio State versus Notre Dame?

USC Wins - Notre Dame falls of the list of once-beatens and USC vaults over Michigan to claim a shot at Ohio State in the BCS Championship.

HeHeHeHe . . . I told you it would come down to this . . .

By the way, Sports Illustrated's Stewart Mandel predicts that USC will spank Notre Dame tomorrow. Read Mandel's Picks here. Mandel Hates Notre Dame! I love it!

Mandel picked Arkansas to defeat LSU. OOPS! Wait! He also picked Texas to win against Texas A&M. OOPS! He Missed It Again

See ya tomorrow after the game . . . HeHeHeHeHe . . .
