Restaurant Expands Food Menu. Considers Increasing Seating Capacity

Los Cuatro Amigos,
Authentic Mexican Restaurant, has future plans for remodeling. The plans call for an outside face lift later this summer. The Authentic Mexican Restaurant opened its doors in January 2004.

Cesar Ortega, manager of Los Cuatro, who was born in Texas, said, "We are remodeling to make more room for bigger parties, which will seat groups of twelve or more."
Some of the planned renovations include a new ceiling and new booths and seating. Ortega said, "We want to spiffy it up and make it more comfortable for our customers."
Ortega, went on to say, "We are also looking to give the outside a face lift sometime this summer. It still has the look of the old White's Restaurant. We want to give it our own look."
Los Cuatro Amigos will also be introducing a greater variety of salads for the lunch crowd and making some additions to their food selection. Ortega also hopes to one day go "smoke free".
"Bay City has been really good to us," Ortega said. "This city does a great job supporting all the summer events, which brings people in from all over Michigan", Ortega added.
The restaurant chain started in Kentucky and now has 4 locations in Michigan, including:
Bay City, 4002 Bay Road,
Saginaw, 2091 S. Linden Rd,
Flint, AND 4355 24th Street,
Fort Gratiot (Port Huron). A fifth location is planned for
Rochester Hills later this fall (2007).
Los Cuatro Amigos also features
take-out orders. Ortega said, "We get a lot of take out orders for our homemade chips and salsa."
