Midland Street Wine Walk 2007 Set for June 7

Join wine connoisseurs for wine tasting at all the fun night spots on Historic Midland Street on Bay City's West Side , as they hold their second annual Wine Walk Thursday, June 7th.

The Wine Tasting starts at 5:00 till 10:00. Each Establishment will have two different Wines to sample.

Complimentary appetizers and a Souvenir Wine Glass will be provided. Participants can start at either end of Midland Street, Tommy V's or Hooters to pick up a souvenir wine glass.

Knights Luxury Transport will have a shuttle bus available for the convenience of wine tourists, traveling back & forth between Tommy V's & Hooters.

All together participants will receive 30 samples of red and white wines from around the world, plus hors d'oeuvres at each location.

Jay Samborn, (Co-Owner of Lumber Jacks, The Diamond Ball, Lucky's Pub and The Westown) said, "This is the second annual wine walk on Midland Street." Samborn continued, "We anticipate on selling out, tickets are limited, and we have been getting a lot of calls and are selling tickets fast."

"It will be bigger and better then last year, and there will also be music and entertainment." Samborn added.

Tickets are $20.00 and are available at the following participating establishments:

  • Lucky's Pub
  • Steamers
  • Hooters
  • Lumber Barons'
  • The Stables
  • Arlington Hotel
  • River Rock CafĂ©
  • Midland Street Pub

  • Rathskeller
  • Indian Barry's
  • Tommy V's
