Standing Room Only Crowds Fill Vet's Park for River Roar Rock Weekend

Rock and Roll filled the Bay City night air on Friday and Saturday in Bay City Vet's Park.

The heavy rock of Ted Nugent and Poison brought fans from all over mid-Michigan and they jammed Vet's Park to hear the Legendary bands perform during the 20TH Annual 2007 Bay City River Roar.

Fans were on their feet both nights enjoying maybe the best two-night rock show ever in Bay City.



Every one praised Chad Cunningham for the spectacular concerts at the 2007 River Roar Weekend.

Bret Michaels, C.C. Deville, Rikki Rocket and Bobby Dall of Poison kicked off the weekend of events on Friday Night.

According to Dave Milborne, Backstage Crew, people were lined up at 12:30 in the afternoon on Friday. Milborne said, "This is the biggest show we have ever done." Milborne added, "It is also the biggest sound system we've ever had in the (Vet's) park."



(Above) Poison was loaded with pyrotechnics and ended with confetti, confetti,and more confetti.

(Above Left) Dave Neitzel with State Senator, Jim Barcia. Barcia said he's known Nugent for 20 years and is a close friend of his. Barcia said,(about Nugent)"He's a strong advocate of the 2nd Amendment and the US Constitution." Barcia also added, "Fred Bear is my favorite song." (Above Right) Jeff & Kate Young enjoy the festivities.
