Four Week Head-To-Head Singing Battle Will Carry Top Four to Pig Gig Finals

It's Show Time this Wednesday night at the Stables on Bay City's West Side.
The Michigan Challenge (IDOL) gets back on stage at Stables (after the 4th of July break) as the Final 10 competitors square off for a chance to perfom live at the Pig Gig in early August.
These 10 finalists will now compete for 4 weeks beginning Wednesday July 11, 2007 at Stables Cigar & Martini Bar on Bay City's West Side.
Chief Judge Mike Sheets and assistants Ron Graham and accomplished pianist Carrie VanDell will be back on the Judges' Couch to grade the singing performances. These same three judges will be there every Wednesday for the next 4 weeks.

Graham has over 40 years of musical experience as a bass player for Infinity and Paisley Fogg. VanDell is an accomplished pianist (20+ years) and is the wife of Scott VanDell of Soul Xpress. Sheets is a regular performer at Stables and has been playing keyboard, drums and arranging music for over 42 years.
This week (7/11), the 10 finalists will perform Rock Music.
The singers will do a Motown song on July 18, and Country on July 25. On the final night of competition before the Pig Gig (August 1), the singers will be able to choose a song of any type.
