Local High School Bands Perform at "ROCK BY THE DOCK" Concert

Bay Area Community Foundation's Youth Advisory Committee is hosting their 2nd fundraiser "Rock by the Dock" in conjunction with the Labadie Pig Gig on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Veteran's.

All proceeds from this event will benefit Bay County youth programs and projects.

Rock by the Dock concert time is 11:00am to 2:00pm. Local High School bands performing are The End of an Era (Central), The Loving Lads (Garber) & The Line up (John Glenn)

Also featuring: BORN - One of Bay City's best Alternative Rock bands;

Ticket Cost is $5.00 (20 & under) with valid student ID. Tickets may be purchased at the Labadie Pig Gig entrance.

The Youth Advisory Committee is made up of local 7th-12th grade students who are engaging in philanthropy with the ultimate goal of enhancing the lives of Bay Area youth. The committee volunteers their time and grants funding to local nonprofit organizations for programs and projects which will directly benefit the youth of Bay County.
