Darcy and Jack Laurin came all the way from Midland to see the Blues Brothers in concert at the Wenonah Park Bandshell.
Next Wednesday it's Phil Dirt & the Dozers - Underwriter: Bay County Realtor Association. Music selections will include Hello, Mary Lou, Let the good times roll and I'll be your travellin' man.
It's the last concert of the season: Return to the 50's and 60's when this popular band lights up the stage and rocks the crowd for summer's grand finale.
It was perfect complement after watching the NBC Special on the first five years of Saturday Night Live. After watching John Belushi and Dan Akroyd as the Blues Brothers, the Wenonah Park performances were near perfect replication.
Ahhhhhh! The days of Belushi, Akroyd, Laraine Newman, Jane Curtain, Bill Murray, Garrett Morris and Chevy Chase. What fond memories!
Thanks for the memories.

The Princess Wenona passed by the concert on its way out to Saginaw Bay for an evening tour. The passengers got a quick peek at the Jake & Elwood performance.
Thunderstorm? What Thunderstorm? As the season runs out at the Wenonah Park Bandshell Concerts, there was still a good crowd on hand Wednesday night - even though thunderstorms were in the forecast.
