The YWCA Is Now Taking Nominations For Women's Empowerment Award
Recognition Award Dinner Set For Nov. 13, 2007 at Bay City Country Club

Women's Empowerment Award Was Formerly Princess Wenonah Award
The YWCA of Bay County is now accepting nominations for the YWCA Women's Empowerment and Youth Empowerment Awards.
Lisa Grills, Development Director for the YWCA, said, "This was once the Princess Wenonah Award and started
back in the early 80's. If has been recently reorganized to the Empowerment Award."
These awards gives the public the opportunity to give public recognition to women employees and volunteers by attending the awards dinner and designating them for an Empowerment Award.
There are 4 categories:
Women's Empowerment Award (Competitive)
Youth Empowerment Award (competitive)
Employee Recognition (non-competitive)
Volunteer Recognition (non-competitive)
According to Grills the Deadline for the Women's Empowerment Award has been extended to September 10, 2007, and the Youth nominations
are due on October 1, 2007.
The YWCA Recognition dinner and awards ceremony will be held November 13th at the Bay City Country Club.
The Awards Dinner is designed to recognize the outstanding achievements of women in the business, professional and volunteer them for an Empowerment Award.
The ceremony includes the introduction of each person designated by the employer and a special award.
