Environmental Fashion Show & Exhibit - 'ECO CHIC'

Urban style or environmental statement? You be the judge for ECO CHIC, the hip Environmental Fashion Show & Exhibit presented by Linda Petee and hosted by Studio 23 - The Arts Center, Bay City, November 1-9, 2007.

The Opening Reception being held at Studio 23 - The Arts Center on Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Public is Invited to the Fashion Shows at 5:30pm & 7:00pm.

The program highlights wearable fashions created by area artists, students, and designer hopefuls. Designed to heighten environmental awareness, the collection includes fashions created of paper, plastics, foam, bubble wrap, tea bags, vinyl, and imagination.

The delicate balance between our actions and the natural environment are brought to the public in an entertaining and enlightening way on the recycle runway.

The exhibit begins November 1 to coincide with downtown Bay City's First Thursday Gallery Walk from 5:00-8:00pm. Fashions will debut during two runway shows during the November 1 opening reception at 5:30pm and 7:00pm. All fashions will be exhibited at Studio 23 through November 9, 2007.
