"A Night of Vaudeville" at The Bay City State Theatre

In November of 2001 these guys played to a sold out show and turned people away. Stephen Bargatze flew in from Nashville to help Bob Bloenk and Gene Anderson do a fundraiser for the State Theatre.

This time not only are the three of them back, but we've added juggler Jim Oakley to the line-up. This is going to be quite a show, you won't want to miss it.

In Bay City he is known as Bob Bloenk from Bay City, Michigan. In Maui, Nashville, Chicago, Florida, The Burg Tour, St Louis, Little Rock, Mackinaw Island, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Port Huron, Kalamazoo and Linwood, he is known as Bob Bloenk from Bay City, Michigan. Bob has performed in all of those venues and more. His performance in a Night of Vaudeville, will involve magic, music, and mirth. He will premier his take on what would have happened if Elvis was a magician.

For over twenty-five years, Jim Oakley has delighted audiences across the country with his unique comedy entertainment! People everywhere have discovered that Jim is more than just a comedian. He's an outstanding entertainer who is sure to tickle your funny bone. His hilarious humor and edge of the seat juggling have been enjoyed on Caribbean cruises, on television, at conventions and banquets, and as an opening act. Jim Oakley is a comedian and juggler with a unique sense of humor you are bound to enjoy, and he will always leave you laughing!

Gene Anderson discovered magic at age eight when an uncle showed him a coin trick. He was captivated then, but he became truly hooked the day he first heard applause for his own performance. Magic has held a life-long passion for him ever since, and he has now performed magic professionally in 21 countries on six continents. Gene was awarded seven first-prize trophies in magic competitions for stage, comedy, close-up and originality, he has been on the covers of GENII and THE LINKING RING magazines, and he was nominated for two Academy Awards by the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood. He is a past board member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the world's largest magical organization, and he is proud to be one of only six performers honored as lifetime members of the Magic Circle of Norway. Among his many magical writings, his book *Newspaper Magic*, now in its eleventh printing, is one of the best selling ever!

As an internationally acclaimed comedian and motivational speaker with over 25 years - experience, Stephen Bargatze is a rare talent among entertainers. His genuine personality endears him to any audience, and he quickly develops a strong, positive relationship with them. No more merely spectators, they find themselves caught up in the comedy and amazements of Stephen's zany performance.
