Michelle Michalski, owner of Sweet Dreams Fundraising was on site to offer her confections, time and generosity to the family for the cause. Sweet Dreams Fundraising was born in June 2007 and is quickly proving to be a source of strength for those in need in our community. Averaging 1-2 fund-raising events per day, Sweet Dreams is off to a "sweet" start. St. Stans festival was their very first event this past summer raising over $1,300.00 for the cause.

Michelle needed additional space to continue to produce product for her passion and soon thereafter approached Old Town Pizzeria in Bay City owner, Mr. Herb Saenz. Seeing her drive, he offered her half of his kitchen to assist in her need. Sweet Dreams offers hand made cotton candy, caramel apples and corn, rock candy, pies, cakes, cookies and her specialty, $1 miniature banana splits stating "No one can finish a whole banana split."

Michalski is also passionate about another hobby, bowling. She has carried the highest average title remaining in the top 5 bowlers in Bay City for over a decade.

Sweet Dreams will be attending fundraisers Sunday, November 11th at Castaways for Bruce Chesney who had Stem Cell Surgery this past Tuesday and later in the day at The Green Hut for Kevin Gorney who is suffering from Renal Failure as is Brent LaFramboise. Sweet Dreams is also spearheading a fundraiser close to her heart in the upcoming month. Shelley Prior, dear friend to Michelle, was recently diagnosed with Stomach Cavity Melanoma.

Sweet Dreams Fundraising will be hosting a 9-pin, no-tap bowling fundraiser on December 9th at Bay Lanes on Euclid from 12-4:00 p.m. for the cause. The event offers a potluck dinner costing $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children aged 12 and under.
