Meaty's B B Q serves up the good stuff!

Summer means picnics, hotdogs, baseball, and BAR-B-QUE! For the second year, Meats & Moore and their "Meaty's BBQ" arm are cooking bar-b-que in their Henry Street parking lot every weekend. The prices are good and the ribs, chicken and brats are fantastic! This weekend brought back the "Cajun Weekend" that was a real hit last year. Bar-b-que chef Josh Zacharko said that it was an experiment last year that went over better than anyone could hope for. It seems that this year is a repeat. The big pot of Jambalia was going fast as were the boiled crawfish. As an old southern boy, born and raised in Louisiana, I can tell you that Josh did mighty well for a yankee! Josh says that the BBQ will be cooking every weekend through thesummer. You may also find him catering BBQ around the area. He's not sure if they'll do another Cajun weekend this year, but he says you can always buy the fixins, including frozen crawfish, inside Moores.
