One Day Only! Savor the Savings! Enjoy Soups and Other Specialties in Downtown Restaurants. During "Soup & Sales" Saturday, January 5, 2008.

And you thought that there was nothing to do after the Holidays! This annual, year-end sale event provides shoppers with the best of both worlds - great sales and great food!

Participating establishments will be offering end-of-season and year-end sale prices along with hot treats that are sure to warm you up!

And there's more! FREE carriage rides will be offered from noon until 3 p.m. with pick up in front of the State Theatre. Sponsored by Chemical Bank.

Over 35 participating Downtown businesses will be offering individuals sales and activities including:

Atrium is serving up a soup - salad - sandwich lunch buffet with 9 different housemade soups!

MeadowCreek Clothiers will be serving hot gourmet coffee and sweet treats along with 30-50% off all winter apparel and accessories.

The Harvest Coffeehouse & Beanery is scheduled to have FREE, live music from 'The Luminous' at 7 p.m.

Water Front Market & Deli will offer sampling of bread, American Spoon Jams, Organic

Nut Butters, honey, tea and as always, lots of great soups!
