Brad Norman drops in a freethrow against the Lumberjacks
Bay City Central Boys did all they could to control the tempo against number one rated Arthur Hill.
They succeeded through three quarters trailing the heavily favored and high scoring Lumberjacks 55-44.
The fourth quarter everything came undone as the Hill started with a quick swarming full court press and forced the Wolves into many turnovers and then scored just as many quick points as the visiting Saginaw Valley League foe outscored their host 20-4 in the fourth.
After trailing the Wolves at Halftime 32-30 the Lumberjacks woke up in the second half to win it going away. Alex Bush led the wolves with 16 followed by Luther Ware with 12, while sophomore Deon Martin chipped in 11.
The Wolves take a break from their tough SVL schedule with an away game against Pinconning on Tuesday night.
