  • Dr. Thomas Norfleet and Dr. Janel Norfleet opened their practice in Standish in January 2002. They opened their second office in Bay City in August 2002. They reside in the Linwood area. They have three children.

    Dr. Tom Norfleet grew up south of Detroit in Rockwood. He graduated from Carlson High School in 1987 and from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1994. He is an avid outdoors man who enjoys bow hunting for white tail deer and heads to New Mexico annually for elk hunting.

    Dr. Janel Norfleet graduated from Alpena High School in 1988. She has a bachelor?s degree from Ferris State University. She is a 1997 graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry. She enjoys the outdoors, as well.

    It is their goal to provide their patients with an individualized eye care experience. They are passionate about preserving your vision now and for the future. They will strive to Exceed Your Expectations, it's that Simple!

    Once a famous athlete, and now a cook at his brother's Mexican restaurant, José has retreated from the world but he recognizes something in Nina, a young waitress, and reaches out to her.

    In the course of a single day, he not only confronts his past but shows her how the healing power of a family can help her embrace the future. (Rated PG-13)
