Curves Fitness Center of Downtown Bay City will host A Protection and Self Defense Awareness Workshop for Women.
This special event is being held on Wednesday, February 20th at 'Curves' New Location,
710 Washington Ave. from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
You don't have to be a weight lifter or an extremely strong person to be able to protect yourself against someone double your size.
Every day innocent citizens become victims of violent crimes. Nobody thinks they will be the one who gets assaulted.
Officer Monte Oswald (Ret.) will instruct and cover important techniques and issues such as Vehicle safety, Stalking, Home Security, Conversation Techniques and much more.
This opportunity can give you piece of mind and security for your own well being.
The cost is $5.00 donation. There will be other safety items available to purchase. Snacks and Refreshments will be provided.
