By: Kevin Leahy
John Glenn drew the first round bye and played Wednesday against Frankenmuth and their Mr. Basketball candidate Brad Redford who scored his 2000th career point against the Bobcats. The Bobcats put up a good fight against the 20-2 Eagles ultimately loosing 82-56. They had cut a twenty one-point halftime deficit to 16 late in the third quarter but Redford's supporting cast was too much for the Bobcats. "I thought we played really hard and I think they are a really good team, I was really proud of my kids effort. I felt like we played real hard. That we played well at times. That team (Frankenmuth) has a really good player and he will probably become Mr. Basketball in the State of Michigan," said John Glenn Head Coach Dale Clyde after the game. The Bobcats finish their season at 4-17.
