It was Monster Madness at the Dow Event Center, in Saginaw last weekend, as the monster trucks thundered their way into the arena, during a 2-day - 3-show event.

Monster Jam is the world's largest and most popular monster truck brand. Tuffy Auto Service Center sponsored the event. Not only was there monster trucks but also a monster audience as Dow Event Center sold out 2 of the 3 show event.

Friday night kicked off the monster event, jammed packed with huge excitement, huge monster truck racing , big names, challenging courses and freestyle show like no other.

Saturday afternoon from 11:30 to 12:30 was the pit party, pit passes got you in to meet your favorite drivers and get autographs and pictures. (Above) Brutus Driver, Chris Bergeron signs autographs.

Winslow, from North Carolina, said, "This is one of the smaller arenas but the drivers do the best they can and give 110 percent." "We are here to have a good time." (Monster Mutt and Escalade are partnering teams.)

(Above) Avenger (In this arena the trucks get up to approximately 25 to 30 mph, in the bigger arenas they can reach up to 65 mph.)



(Above Left) Trishelle Neumeyer brought her two sons, Mitchell, 5 and Trevor 7. This was their first time, and by the fun they had, probably wont be their last. (Above Right) Mitchell Neumeyer, shows his favorite monster truck, Grave Digger.



Although, GRAVE DIGGER did not make his appearance in Saginaw, he sure was a fan favorite.

Grave Digger won the Monster Jam Racing World Finals in 2004 and 2006 and won the Monster Jam Freestyle in 2000. (Grave Digger driver is Dennis Anderson.)



(Above) Although Avenger put on the best cyclone show, it ended up in smoke and eventually on fire, which was quickly put out. Crazy driver Jim Koehler was unharmed.



(Above) Escalade, driver George Balhan crashed during his freestyle performance, but quickly got out and on top of his truck and let everyone know he was alright!

  • Monster Trucks shooting for the Racing and Freestyle Championship in Las Vegas on March 29, 2008. (Las Vegas has one of the largest tracks for monster trucks.)
