O'Hare's Bar and Midland Street Pub offered outdoor dining and entertainment beginning on Sunday, June 1st, as Midland Street geared up for summer with sidewalk café style dining.
Across the street, Lumberjacks Steakhouse and The Diamond Ballroom were also busy on Sunday -- building and painting their platforms in front of their businesses to accommodate table seating for outdoor dining.
Lumberjacks begin building their 8x32 platform on June 1st and expects to be open for business starting this week.
Lunch and dinner will be served on the decks for patrons who choose to dine outdoors this summer according to owners of Lumberjacks Steak house. (Just in time for the annual Midland Street Wine Walk which will be held on Thursday, June 6th.)
The City Commission approved the temporary platforms for restaurant and bar owners from June 1st through September 30th which will allow patrons to enjoy their meals and drinks outdoors in the summer temperatures.
