Neighborhood Cleaners is 7-0 in the South Western League and Tri-City RV is also perfect in the Eastern League at 10-0, while Kerkau Manufacturing is 6-0 in the Western League.

It seems that the parity in the ten leagues playing full two games a week schedules is leveling out.

Seven league's are wide open.

Although usually dominant in their respective league's, Glacier Financial plays in both the "A" modified league and are 6-2 and in first place while they also play in the 10 man modified Friday league and are in second place in that league with a 3-1 record behind 3-0 Executive Mortgage.

Copus Orthodontics is 6-1 and hot on the heels of undefeated Neighborhood Cleaners.

Outside of those three undefeated teams, every other League Championship is up in the air with just two weeks left on the schedule. (Although those undefeated teams have not yet clinched, they have a good lead in their respective leagues).

In action Monday night, Tuffy Muffler and Stretch's Curve of the Western and South Western leagues were putting on a scoring fest against each other as Scott Russell of Tuffy hit an in the park homerun as his team scored seven runs in the top of the fifth to take a 15-12 lead and went on to win.

With an inside-the-park home run, Scott Russell of Tuffy Muffler (Left) rips it and then makes it home (Right) against Stretch's Monday night.

In modified "C" action Hunters/Laura's Lounge had their hands full against O'Hares' who were up on them 9-8 in the bottom of the fourth when O'hares' had to forfeit because two of their players who also play for the undefeated Neighborhood Cleaners left the field to play in their South Western League game.

Hooters lost their game following the O'HaresO'Hare's forfeit to Keits /Rycek 23-8 and fell to 7-3.With the win Rycek/Keits improved to 6-3 and are a half game back of 6-2 Hunters who they play on Wednesday.

We still welcome all reports of whats happening down at the fields at Vet's, if you want your team mentioned here please email me at: Kevin@mybaycity.com or call my cell phone 714-4068 anytime with your scores and highlights to be mentioned here.
