MY BAR WINS BIG - My Bar upped their record to 9-1 with a 15-4 win over Burt Watson Tuesday night is Class "A" Women's Slowpitch action at Vet's Park. My Bar upped their league-leading record to 9-1 with a 15-4 win over Burt Watson is Class "A" Women's Slowpitch on Tuesday night.
Coach/Sponsor Carol Hewitt's squad scored 10 runs in the first two innings and then just ran-away with a five inning "mercy" win.
"Our only loss this year is to Hooters," said Hewitt. Hooters defeated My Bar 17-12 earlier in the year in a 7-inning game.
Dawn St. Martin led all hitters with a 4-4 night while Heather Ouderkirk was 3-3 on the night.
Pitcher Pam Garza got the win, allowing only one base on balls and holding the Burt Watson team to only one run in the first four innings.
