Annual Auburn Cornfest Does It Again!

The 2008 annual Auburn Cornfest Parade kicked off with sirens that could be heard throughout the tri-counties!

The annual Auburn Corn Festival, a 4-day event held on the 2nd weekend in July each year concluded Sunday with a parade!

Many forms of entertainment were featured throughout the annual event such as a Midway with rides, games, food, a "Fishing Frenzy", Road Races and LIVE Entertainment with Dancing under the BIG TENT!

Other activities were also enjoyed such as arts & crafts, a flea market, a horseshoe tournament, casino, tractor pull, softball tournaments, volleyball tournaments, a Chicken BBQ ... and of course ... DELICIOUS SWEET CORN!

Entertainment artists that were featured throughout the event were as follows:

Thursday: Comedian "Leo DeFour" from Windsor, Ontario

Friday: Jedi Mind Trip

Saturday: Steel Wheels

Sunday: New Brass Express-Polkas
