"The RiverDawgs organization is very excited about our 2009 tryouts," said Mark Krzysiak, Coach and Vice President for Saginaw Bay RiverDawgs. "We are expecting to evaluate some of the finest talent in the Tri-City and Mid-Michigan region," said Krzysiak.

Krzysiak went on to say that the organization is receiving a large number of calls about teams and tryouts. "The 2009 season looks to be even better then our highly successful 2008 season," Krzysiak said.

Krzysiak pointed out that the 2008 parents, board, coaches, and players were very instrumental in the past season's success. "Without the contributions of everyone involved we would not be in the positive position we are today," Krzysiak said.

Krzysiak made special note that Al and Ann Provow provided a tremendous amount of leadership and organization since the inception of the RiverDawgs. "Their efforts have been instrumental as the RiverDawgs teams and organization continue to grow," Krzysiak went on.

Krzysiak said that 2009 will have a special flare with the introduction of a select 10 and under girls softball team coached by Roger Klauss -- Go Lady RiverDawgs" . . . And another age group new to the organization -- The 9 and under team Coached by Rob Fisher.

"Travel Baseball is the wave of the future," Krzysiak went on. "When you see the level of play versus some of the finest competition in the Midwest, you can see why many kids are excited and want to be part of the RiverDawgs Baseball Club," he said.

For those interested . . . An array of impressive trophy's and plaques earned by the 2008 RiverDawg teams are on display at Peak Performance Baseball located on Salzburg in Bay City.
