Artists Show Off Art During First Thursday Gallery Walk - Downtown Bay City

Sweet Boutique Hosts Successful Art Show on October 2, 2008

The Gallery Walk has established itself as an exciting addition to the thriving downtown area.

Established in 2004, First Thursday Gallery Walk exists to bring art and the public together. By embracing the diverse culture of local neighborhoods, the heritage of their ancestors, and the rich history of the community's riverfront.

Starting points of the Gallery Walk are at any of the participating downtown locations, where you can find a map of the full route of the Gallery Walk.

  • The Sweet Boutique held a successful Art Show this past Thursday suppling the space for artists to display their art, and also gave away sample candies as a special treat.

    The art work ranged from $50.00 up to $200.00 and are designed with, watercolor, charcoal, color pencils, sharpies, markers, acrylic, or photography.

    The Sweet Boutique sponsors a new artist once a month.



    Artists and Cousins, Kristen Wierzbicki, 22, Baker College and Angelica Brunett, 18, Delta College.



    Wierzbicki is the author of the above art, which is of her cousin Brunett (Pictured in above photo).



    Artist Angel Brunett, entitled "Growth" and designed using charcoal.



    Artist Angel Brunett, entitled "War of Emotions" designed using acrylic.
