Like you, I'm fed up with Detroit Lions' football.
I watched (in pain) as the Lions passed on USC's Matt Leinert (Quarterback) and agonized again when the Lions ignored Notre Dame's Brady Quinn (Quarterback) in recent NFL Drafts.
Like you, I complain openly in bars, at the water cooler and during business luncheons.
But I have other outlets -- like this column and a recent television project. I stole the idea of the faces on sticks
from PTI (Pardon The Interruption
) on ESPN . . . regards to Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon --- I Love you guys . . .
So . . . I got this new TV Show called www.TriCityBuzz.TV
thats playing on Charter Mainstreet (Charter Channel 5 in Bay City/Saginaw and Channel 25 in Midland) . . . and it seems I've made a few "waves" in southern Michigan with our "MOCK INTERVIEW" of Lions' Owner, William Clay Ford (And Head Coach Marinelli) on our last program.
I got a call Friday from a "Detroit Area" paper and she wanted a "comment" from me concerning the video that is now playing "live" on YouTube . . . and at www.TriCityBuzz.TV
You can see the "interview" by clicking below.
Take a look . . . Decide for yourself.
Personally, I don't think there's anything there that's offensive. Every Lions fan no doubt feels the same frustration. Every fan (former) I know is mad as hell and demanding change. Seriously . . . 0-10 is not tolerable.
If you agree or care to join in the fun . . . add a comment at the bottom of the column.
I hope that reporter spells my name right . . . You know what they say about 15 minutes of "fame."
