Scott Wittbrodt & Andrew Price Claim Turkey Paddleball Title at Family Y
Price (Age 17) Is Youngest Winner in 40 Year Tournament History

Andrew Price and Scott Wittbrodt were the 2008 winners of the 40th Annual Turkey Shoot-Out held at the Bay Area Family YMCA in Bay City.
The Bay Area Family Y stuffed 10 players into four courts for the 40th annual Turkey Tournament Shoot-out on Saturday.
Partners were drawn at random with the winning team taking home two turkeys. Bay City's Scott Wittbrodt teamed with Saginaw's Andrew Price to claim the top prize.
Andrew Price became the youngest Turkey Tourney Shootout champion in 40 years at the ripe old age of 17.
Price-Wittbrodt out-scored Bay City's Randy Wackerle and Scott Carmona 21-19, 21-17 in a close final match. Wackerle and Carmona won the event in 1988 and were trying to become the first team to ever repeat as champions. They had to settle for 2nd place and a pumpkin pie.
The consolation champs, Greg Keenan and Jim Price, walked away with a prize of gravy and stuffing in a tie-breaker win over Earl Pratt and Paul Chritz.
Mike Wisniewski and Mike Kuhn finished in 4th place.
In attendance, but not playing were former two-time champion Joe Siniff (open heart surgery 3 weeks ago) and two-time champ Joe Todd (rheumatoid arthritis.)
