I got your attention with that headline . . .
Didn't I?
Well now that I've complained about junk email . . . now I'm on to junk snail mail. (well, kind of)
I receive approximately 20 or more magazines a week in the mail. (Which is probably my own fault. Most of my shopping is done on-line.)
Not only that, but I sometimes receive 3 a day from the same company. Victoria's Secret is one of those examples - although I am not complaining about this company.
As the Holiday season approaches, the magazine's holiday advertising has geared up and is in full force.
I have to give the Victoria's Secret advertising department credit for these holiday slogans and since I work in the advertising business, I appreciated these clever play on words.
This is how it went . . . . .
"Behind every great gift is a Secret . . . Victoria's Secret."
"Tis the season of gorgeous giving, where anticipation is everything . . . and every great gift shares one secret.
You have to admit, thats good stuff . . . well in my opinion.
Might I mention, Victoria's Secret has more then lingerie, they have a whole clothing line and make-up, perfume, footwear and so on. I just thought I would mention that,
because I ran into someone the other day who had no idea that Victoria's Secret offered more then lingerie.
Well that's my holiday story . . . last time I talked about a name-brand (Monster Java) I received hate mail . . .
It is not my intention to advertise for Victoria's Secret, its just a 'lil
blog by Julie McCallum.
