An Extraordinary Gift This Holiday Season

December 18, 2008
By: Julie McCallum, Entertainment Editor

The fine arts department of the Redeeming Love Christian Embassy Church presented their annual Christmas play recently. An old fashion Christmas musical and dinner theater.

The play was written and directed by Apostle Jeff Englehart and choreography by Sarah Holmes was entitled "I'll Be Home For Christmas"

According to Englehart preparation for the production took approximately 120 hours with a cast of approximately 60 people.

A fantastic production that brings out heart felt emotions and feeling of the real meaning of Christmas and the spirit of the holidays.

Over a dozen prop builders work on the building of the set to add to the authenticity of the scene.

Another annual classic of the Embassy's is their Easter production of 'Bay City's Passion Play' being performed on April 10, 11 & 12, 2009.

First two nights offer dinner. Cost is $13.00 Adults and $7.00 children. The April 12th is an open performance. (offerings accepted)

Angels we have heard on high,
Sweetly singing over the plains,
And the mountains in reply,
Echoing their joyous strains,
Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo
