A free Effective Customer Service and Communications seminar is being offered by Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center (MI-SBTDC) Tuesday, April 21, 2009, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Delta College.

Even though this is the age of technology, too many communications leave the recipient making assumptions that lead to poor productivity, low morale, and worse.

Be clear, concise, and consistent in your message to internal and external customers of your business through proper and effective use of meetings, letters, memos, faxes, e-mails plus other activities and documents in communicating your business.

Pre-registration is required online at www.misbtdc.org click "Training Events" or call (989) 686-9597. Registration is limited.

The MI-SBTDC is a partner program of the U.S. Small Business Administration and provides confidential, no-cost business counseling services, training and research for Michigan's new business ventures, existing small businesses, expanding businesses, new technology companies, and innovators.

Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and is not an endorsement of any products, opinions, or services. All SBA funded programs or co-sponsored programs are extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made, if requested at least two weeks in advance by calling (989) 686-9597.
