As we celebrate the Easter Season, many people focus on renewing their spiritual faith.

In many households, watching classic Easter movies is an Easter holiday tradition -- Jesus of Nazareth, Greatest Story Ever Told, The Ten Commandments.

The 2004 Movie The Passion of the Christ directed by Mel Gibson and starring Jim Caviezel portraying Jesus Christ opened in theaters in the U.S. on February 25, 2004.

It earned $83,848,082 opening weekend alone.

There was much controversy over the film's graphic display and detailed violence. The movie is 126 minutes long and over half of the movie focuses on the torture & death of Jesus Christ.

Many have said it is the most violent, gruesome movie they have ever seen. When the movie ended in the theatre... (opening day in Bay City -- I was there) . . . It was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop.

True Facts about the making of The Passion of the Christ . . . During the making of the movie, Jim Caviezel suffered from hypothermia, was struck by lightning, separated his shoulder and was literally whipped.

Below interview with Jim Caviezel (You Tube)

Caviezel has said, the making of this movie, changed his life.

(One of my all time favorite movies starring Robert Powell, portraying The Christ)

Hope this has inspired your Easter Season.
And Remember We Are All Called To Carry Our Own Crosses . . .
